Our helpline is open seven days a week and provides immediate advice, information and support. If you are worried about calling the helpline, you could ask a friend, family member or a professional that you are working with to be there when you make the call, or to call for you. The helpline is often the first point of contact people have with ADA. 

The helpline offers:

  • Advice, information and support on drug and alcohol use and related issues
  • Immediate support to those in crisis
  • Information for anyone with a drug or alcohol-related enquiry
  • Free leaflets on drugs, alcohol, HIV and hepatitis
  • Access to regular information sessions
  • Information and referral to other services, when appropriate
